A 5-day ‘Sharat Mela’ (autumn fair), arranged by Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC), will begin in the capital on today.
BSCIC chairman Md Hazarat Ali will inaugurate the fair at the BSCICBhaban in Motijheel, while BSCIC chief designer Mostafa Kamal will preside over the inaugural event, said a handout.
A total of total of 47 stalls will be installed at the fair which will be open for visitor from 9am to 5pm everyday.
Besides, handicrafts of trainees who participated in courses run by BSCIC design centre will also be displayed in the fair.
