BRUR VC mourns death of Prince Philip

Vice-Chancellor of Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) Prof. Dr. Major Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah BNCCO, has expressed deep condolence at the death of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh and husband of Queen Elizabeth II of Britain.
Prince Philip breathed his last on Friday morning at Windsor Castle, Britain’s royal palace. He was 99.
In a condolence message, BRUR VC prayed for salvation of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved royal family. BRUR VC Dr. Kalimullah said,’Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, was involved in many humanitarian works. He introduced the Duke of Edinburgh Award for the development of young people. In addition to encouraging people with disabilities around the world, he had an unquenchable enthusiasm for the environment and wildlife conservation as well as sports’.
‘In his death, the whole world, especially the Commonwealth countries, lost a trusted friend’, said BRUR VC.
