Vice-Chancellor (VC) of Begum Rokeya University Rangpur Professor Dr Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah has said Department of Mass Communication and Journalism of the university would launch campus radio in the university.
He disclosed the information at the inaugural ceremony of a discussion on ‘Broadcast Colloquium: Recent Thoughts’ held at the gallery room of Heyat Mamud Bhaban on the campus recently as the chief guest.
The Department of Mass Communication and Journalism of the university is organising the event participated by students of the department.
Chief Executive Officer of Bangladesh NGOs Network for Radio and Communication AHM Bazlur Rahman took part as the main discussant in the programme on the inaugural day.
Dean of the faculty of Business Studied of BRUR Md Ferdous Rahman, Associate Professor of the Department of Bengali Dr Primal Chandra Barman and Head of the Department of English Asif Al Matin also addressed programme.
Assistant Professor of Department of Mass Communication and Journalism of the university Tabiur Rahman moderated different discussion sessions.
