The unfinished examinations of the undergraduate and postgraduate levels under Begum Rokeya University (BRU) which were postponed will be held online from 12 to 22 August 2021.
The decision was taken at the 32nd meeting of BRU Academic Council chaired by BRU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr Md. Hasibur Rashid on Thursday.
According to the decision of the meeting, only the unfinished examinations which were postponed in February this year due to the Corona epidemic will be held online. Detailed examination schedule will be informed immediately.
Also the regular semester final exams of different departments will start online from the first week of next September.University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Deans and heads of departments of various faculties including Sarifa Salwa Dina participated in the meeting online.

It may be mentioned that due to the Corona situation, the ongoing examinations in different departments of the university were postponed in February this year as per the instructions of the Ministry of Education. The decision was taken at the Deans Committee meeting held on June 24 to take all the postponed exams online from July 4. However, due to government guidelines and strict lockdown to prevent the spread of coronavirus-borne disease (Covid-19) in the country, these tests were postponed for the second time on July 3, 2021.
