A three-day ‘CSE Festival-2017’ organized by Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) of Begum Rokeya University (BRU), Rangpur started on Sunday. The launch of ‘Innovation Hub’ was inaugurated on the first day of the festival. Prof Dr Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah BTFO, Vice- Chancellor of the university inaugurated the program at the Academic Building-2 of the University.
The festival was presided over by Dr Abu Kalam Md. Faridul Islam, Head of CSE Dept. Tajul Islam, Dean of the Science Faculty, Mohammad Ferdous Rahman, Dean of Business Faculty, Tabiur Rahman Prodhan, the Assistant Professor of Mass communication and Journalism Dept. and the teachers of various departments were also present as the special guests of the program.
The Vice Chancellor thanked the organizers for organizing such programs in his speech. All such programs play a positive role in the development of students and simultaneously creative work, he added.
After the inauguration, the Vice Chancellor visited the software exhibition with the participation of students of the Dept.
However, the programming Contest and the software exhibition were held at the first day of the program. And the computer gaming contests and the indoor sports competition will be held at the second and third day.
