British Council Country Director Brendan Mcsharry on Sunday called on Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique at the latter’s office of the university.
He was accompanied by Director Operations and Change Manager of British Council Sanjiv Malhotra and Administrative Manager of the same institution Mohammad Mojibur Rahman.
During the meeting they discussed various strategic plans specially possibilities of establishing a new department on ‘English Language Teaching’ at Dhaka University.
The Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique thanked the guest for his visit to Dhaka University and keen interest taken by him in its academic activities.
