Bridge built after 2 days of election win!

Two days after election, Masud Talukder, the newly elected chairman of Narandia Union Parishad in Kalihatiupazila of Tangail, built a wooden bridge on own finance as promised to alleviate the suffering of people in several villages. He has built a 130 feet long wooden bridge over the river Lohajang in Gharia village. The total cost for the construction of the bridge is one lakh twenty thousand taka.
Earlier, on November 28Narandia Union Parishad elections were held.MasudTalukder was declared unofficially elected in the election. As soon as he was elected, he built a wooden bridge as promised and solved the transportation problems of the people of several villages.
Locals said that “Gharia is a village bordering Narandia union and Elenga municipality. The river Lohajang flows through this village. There are 8-10 villages on the other side of the river. People from several villages including Sherpur, Mirpur, Gharia, Posna, Deulabari, Naga, Tantihara villages used to travel through Gharia village.
