Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (BREB) has taken a massive programme to bring almost 90 percent of people of trhe country by 2018, said a press release.
According to the press release, as part of the vigorous effort of BREB, it has brought 1,59,000 customers under their network in June last.
Including the newusers, the total number of BREB’s subscribers base stood at 15.6 million as of Tuesday.
Bringing the large number of people under it’s network, has been seen as the milestone success of the BREB.
Being succeeded in bringing a large number of subscribers under the net of BREB, Chairman of the Board, Major General Moin Uddin conveyed his thanks to all the officers and staffs of 78 Palli Biddut Samity saying “The grand success has become possible only due to hard working and honesty ot all the work force of BREB.”
