Bangladesh Rural Development Board (BRDB) distributed crop loans among 39 farmers in Bhangura upazila of Pabna on Tuesday. Under this programme, each farmer gets a loan of Tk. 25,000 to Tk. 31,000 for Boro Paddy cultivation. Upazila Rural Development Officer Md Mamunar Rashid handed over the cash of the loan to the farmer. At this time, Md Israel Hossain, President of Puran Menda Purbopara Krishak Samabaya Samiti and Mahbub-ul-Alam, President of Bhangura Press Club were present there.
Md. Mamunar Rashid, Rural Development Officer of Bhangura said, 39 successful farmers of Puran Menda Purbapara Cooperative Society of Bhangura Union of the upazila have been provided loans of Taka 10 lakhs 46 thousands at simple interest.
