A minor boy was trampled to death and a girl injured by two wild elephants at Kalachan Hill in Chokoria upazila on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Delwar Hossain, 4, while the injured as Ayesha Akhter, 5, of the village.
Officer-in-charge of Chokoria Police Station Probas Chandra Dhar said two wild elephants entered the village in the morning and attacked the two children while they were playing near their house in the morning, leaving Delwar dead on the spot and Ayesha injured.
The injured girl was taken to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH), said the OC.
