A boy who was abducted from Shillong of Meghalaya of India. rescued from Ahammad Nagar at Jhenaigati in Sherpur on Monday .
The abducted boy was identified as Degid Basaiamwet(17), son of Riong Basaiamwet at Meraing village in Shillong of Meghalaya.
Sources said . the abductors abducted the boy on May 12 from shillon of Meghalaya reign. They kept Degid Basaiamwet at different points of Sherpur border area for days and claimed 60 lacs of Indian rupees from the guardian of Degid Basaiamwet. Shillong police of India informed Sherpur district police about the abduction. Sherpur district police rescued Degid Basaiamwet by mobile tracking from Ahammad Nagar at Jhenaigati of Sherpur.
Police arrested abductor Al Amin Amam (32) at Valukakura village in Haluaghat upazila of Mymensingh district.
