Bourses turn down after 3 days

Country’s both the bourses turned down following a straight upward rally in last three working days due to price correction of some sectors.
Country’s capital bourse, Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) Monday observed a session of profit booking tendency and edged in red zone.
The bourse opened in higher but failed to maintain morning buoyancy that did not sustain after half an hour of the session as most of the investors preferred booking profit over taking new positions ahead of holy Ramadan, according to a market operator, EBL securities.
Investors exerted selling pressure on sector specific stocks especially from fuel and power, telecommunication and bank sectors, it added.
