The country’s two bourses will resume trading and settlement from today (Sunday) in line with the government decision of ending the around two-month long general holidays in view of the coronavirus outbreak.
Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) has already approved the bourses’ plan at a meeting at BSEC in the city.
The stock exchanges must comply with social distancing and hygiene rules during trading, settlement and office work, said the BSEC press release.
As per a press release of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), considering the interests of investors, DSE will conduct all transactions from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm from the day.
DSE, as well as the brokerage offices, will follow health safety measures as per the health regulations of the Health and Family Welfare Ministry.
