Bourses see gain after 5-day

The two bourses Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) — of the country witnessed gain of share price indices on Tuesday (March 29), the third trading session of the week, after observing fall for five trading days at a stretch.
DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), gained over 9.22 points or 0.21 percent to stand at 4311.80 points at the end of day’s trading.
Trade deals stood at 86,371 with transaction at over Tk 3030.11 million. Of the issues traded, 166 advanced, 91 declined and 60 remained unchanged.
Square Pharmaceuticals Ltd. topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 137.03 million having changed hands.
Meanwhile, the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also followed the trend, acquiring over 20.19 points to stand at 8077.96 points.
