Both DSE, CSE index gain on Tuesday

Key share price index at the country’s twin bourses-Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) — gained on Tuesday, the 3rd trading day of the week, in a bull run that continued for the sixth session.
The DSE benchmark index, DSEX gained 42.59 points or nearly 0.86 percent to close at 4967.11 on the day. Of the 301 issues traded, 152 gained, 140 declined and 9 remained unchanged.
Shares worth Tk 1015.93 crore changed hands at the DSE on Tuesday.
The day’s top 10 gainers at the DSE were BD Finance, RAK Ceramics, IFIC Bank, Sino Bangla Industries, First Security Islami Bank, Shahjalal Islami Bank, NBL, MJL BD, Standard Bank, and Asia Pacific General Insurance.
The CSE key index, CSCX gained 84.85 points to reach 9364.74 at close on Tuesday. Of the 233 issues traded, 117 advanced, 109 suffered loss and 7 remained unchanged.
The value of the traded issues was Tk 75.31 crore on the day.
