Department of Health had earlier instructed department and district level officials to be mentally prepared for the booster dose of the coronavirus vaccine. However, since the safety website update has not been completed, the booster dose has not been instructed so far. The Department of Health has finally instructed to start the booster dose after the website (safety) update has been completed. The corona’s booster dose has been instructed to start depending on the capacity of the center, said Civil Surgeon of Chittagong, Dr. Mohammad Elias Chowdhury.
Meanwhile, booster dose application is being started from Tuesday at Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) General Hospital Center as per instructions.
CCC chief health officer. Selim Akhtar Chowdhury said, “We have received instructions to start the booster dose from December 28. In accordance with the instructions, we are starting the booster dose from December 28 . Patiya and Karnafuli upazilas are also starting to give booster doses from Tuesday, according to the District Civil Surgeon’s Office.
Those who will be sent SMS will be able to go to the respective center at the scheduled time and take booster dose.
