The unveiling ceremony of a book was held at Kapasia, GAzipur on Friday. Along with this, a day-long discussion meeting, milad mahfil, awarding of scholarships, establishment of orphanage, madrasa and foundation have been set up at ‘Shahjahan Smriti Welfare Foundation’ in collaboration with Messrs. S Master International in Barabo village of the upazila.
Barisab Union Parishad Chairman SM Atauzzaman Bablu presided over the function while District Awami League Vice President and Upazila Parishad Chairman Advocate Md. Amanat Hossain Khan was the chief guest. Upazila Awami League general secretary Mizanur Rahman Pradhan was the speaker.
Poet Afia Ruby, Vice President, General Secretary Humayun Kabir Shimul, Organizing Secretary Salahuddin Pathan, Expatriate and Founder of Abdul Matin Khasru College Mosharraf Hossain Khan Chowdhury, Coordinator of Humanity House Momtaz Hossain, Lecturer among others were present under the overall management of the President Muhammad Iqbal Hossain.
