About the book GUIDE FOR MUSLIMS INDEXED TO THE QURAN it has been stated in the back-cover: “The book is intended to serve the purpose of using it as a guide to the Quran to find topic-wise discussion and analysis”. …..”In order to have full authenticity of the Quran, there have been profuse use of the English transliteration of the Arabic text in the Quran, with reference to the Surah No. and Ayat (verse) no. together throughout the book”……. “The topics in this guide have been arranged in alphabetical order making it user friendly.”
The writer in the ‘preface’ of the book has said, “………..Regarding the title of this book, it is not intended that it would be looked upon as a comprehensive guide for the Muslims, rather for achieveing one’s own sincere efforts to study the Quran deeply and reflect upon it, only to please Allah……..”
The book has been dedicated ‘In memory of’ the writers’s father Ziauddin Ahmed and mother Zaheda Khatun.
GUIDE FOR MUSLIMS INDEXED TO THE QUR’AN by Barrister Salahuddin Ahmed is a great contribution to the literary works as a guide to the Holy Quran. The book is available through Internet.
The book has been presented in a simple, easy and lucid style.
I firmly believe that the book under review will be welcome by the readers who are anxious to learn more from the Qur’an.
