Eminent poet Mosarrof Hossain Bhuiyan has a bright career of achievement in different spheres of literature. He has written and edited a number of books and has been awarded prizes in recognition of his literary contribution.
Poet Mosarrof Hossain Bhuiyan’s recent publication ‘Dhaner Desh Ganer Desh’, a book of poems for the children juvenile is worthy of appreciation. From the viewpoint of both-subjects of the poems and charming rythm, lucidity and easy approach-the compilation is attractive to the readers. The composition of poems, about 80, is based on the message of nourishing the budding generation in the proper way, which may inspire them.
The lines of the poems are based on building career with patriotic zeal, respect towards parents, respect to Bangabandhu, spirit of the Great War of Liberation, mind’s quest for the nature and environment of Bangladesh-the green motherland, victory of the mother language and humanistic sympathy and response to help the distressed people.
The book has been dedicated to the poet’s grandson Samiul Araf Som, in whom he discovers the sign of bright future.
