A famous literary figure Mustafa Masud is specially known as a juvenile litterateur. He was the editor of ‘Agrapathik’, the monthly literary magazine of Islamic Foundation. Mustafa Masund has the credit of being the author and editor of a number of books, well appreciated by readers. His recent work ‘Allah Amar Rasul Amar’ deserves best appreciation for its theme, literary standing, aesthetic beauty and humanistic call.
The name ‘Allah Amar Rasul Amar’ speaks of the poet’s hearty poetical approach to Allah, the Creator and Sustainer of the universe and the mankind and his Rasul Muhammad (Sm), the last and the greatest Messenger. A very attractive name with the tone of dedication, the book calls for study by the lovers of Allah and His most beloved Messenger.
We know that Hazrat Muhammad (Sm) patronised poetry inspiring human values and loved the poets, who contributed to welfare-literature.
Allah has sent the last Heavenly scripture Holy Quran as ‘guide to mankind.’ Al Quran was revealed through the last Messenger Hazrat Muhammad (Sm). He, in his unparalleled life, demonstrated the Quranic ideals and rituals – the eternal and universal guidance of Code of conduct for the mankind. The Quranic theory and practice of the Prophet, i.e. the Sunnah shows the path of welfare in this world and salvation Hereafter.
Poet Mustafa Masud, in this collection of 89 poems on Allah and His last Messenger and of the beauty of Islamic humanism, emancipation and salvation, has very humbly and at the same time with excellent literary skill and beauty, tried to present the Majesty, Glorification and Praising of Allah. It is true that human limitation stands on the way of perceiving the Attributes of the Supreme Being. Still it is an honest endeavour. The poet has praised the greatest Prophet (Sm), who, by his own right as a unique character and for his unparalleled contribution to human civilisation, has been saluted by the greatest personalities of the world irrespective of caste, creed, race and colour.
The poems have been composed in the light of some verses of different Surahs of the Holy Quran and Hadiths of the Rusul. These are not verbatim translation but the composition has been made based on the thematic ideas of the subject and they carry the light of the sublime words and reflect the theme and thought in excellent literary rhythm and aesthetic beauty. Here there are also poems on Islamic humanism and welfare of suppressed, oppressed and deprived section of humanity.
The valued readers will have a conception of the original. And thus they will be inspired and imbued with the spirit of truth, beauty and humanism, which will contribute to their welfare in this world and salvation in life Hereafter. This collection with an exceptional quantity of poems on (and dedicated to) Allah and His Messenger, it is expected, will become a bright example of love for the Creator and at the same time the creations.
The poet has expected that the book will be well received by the readers. We also expect that the book will occupy the heart of the believers of Allah and His creations. It will enlighten the society with the most aspired human values to uplift ourselves from the depth of utter degradation.
The cover of the book throws light on the subject of the poems.
The book deserves wide publicity and circulation.
