Bangladesh Oil & Gas Workers Federation demanded immediate implementation of new pay- scale .
A protest rally demanding the immediate implementation of govt declared payscale in the oil and gas sector held at the head offices of all oil marketing companies offices in Chittagong and Patenga oil depots on Tuesday .
The speakers in the rally said the officials irrespective of status are getting the benefits of govt declared pay scale but the staffs and workers are being deprieved from that benefits , as such the discrimination between the officials and the workers arised. The leaders in the rally expressed deep resentment over the non-implementation of pay scale to the workers as yet .
The rally was opined that the discrimination between the officers and workers can not be accepted. The central leaders of the federation said until the implementation of their demands of pay-scale, the meeting, agitation and other action programs will continue .
Among others President of the Federation valiant freedom fighter Nasiruddin Shah, general secretary Yakub, executive President Mamtazul Islam, Easter Refinery Md.Selim, Meghna CBA Secretary Sadiqur Rahman, Padma CDA Secretary Md. Nasir, LPG CBA President Abu Shama, General secretary Abul Kalam, and other leaders of the oil marketing companies spoke on the occasion
