Compensation to labourers of shifted tanneries suggested

Experts at a function suggested to provide Taka 25 thousand and every day transport facilities to each worker of those tanneries which would be shifted from the city’s Hajaribagh to Savar as compensation.They came up with the recommendation on Monday at a publication ceremony of a survey report titled “Rapid Assessment on Hajaribagh Tanneries” organized by South Asian Network on Economic Modeling (SANEM) at PRI auditorium at Banani in the city.SANEM Chairman Dr Bazlul Haque Khandker presented the keynote paper...
