Body recovered from jeep in Baraigram

Police have recovered a dead body of Hazrat Ali (50) along with a jeep from Bonpara bypass area of Baraigram in Natore district. The deceased Hazrat Ali was initially known to be a resident of Rangpur Sadar on Tuesday
According to local and police sources, a body was found in the back space of a black jeep during a search operation at Bonpara Bypass area. There are injuries spots on the body and blood marks on the nose and face. A sack full of bricks was tied around the neck of the dead body wearing pants and a ganji.
The driver of the vehicle Mizanur Rahman (40) was arrested and the dead body and vehicle were brought to Bonpara Police Investigation Center. The arrested driver Mizanur Rahman is the son of late Golam Haider of Amtali village in Sreepur of Magura district.
Mizanur Rahman initially said that he took the body from Ashulia of Dhaka at around 5 pm on Monday. Then he ran to Pabna and Ishwardi area later reached Bonpara bypass area of Baraigram with the dead body. He tried to throw it into a river but he did not get proper chance.
Abu Siddique, Officer-in-Charge of Baraigram Police Station, said that after receiving a secret information, the police force was instructed to search jeep vehicle on the road and the body was recovered from a black jeep during the search. A legal case will be filed in this regard. The mystery of this murder will be revealed soon.
