Body of an unidentified man was found floating in the outer anchorage of Chittagong Port in the Bay of Bengal Wednesday night .The deceased was estimated aged 40 and found tied with ropes. Coast guard (East Zone) Public Relations Officer Commander M Mamunur Rashid told that the body was recovered from a place in the sea around 1.5 nautical miles far from the buoy-1 of the anchorage.
The body was first seen drifting in the water from patrol ship ‘Ruposhi Bangla’.Metal Shark-2, a high-speed boat of coast guard was used to recover the body. However, the body was sent to Patenga Police Station, added the coast guard official.
