Floating dead body of Hanif Haoladar, 38, a steel furniture making workshop worker, has been recovered from a psciculture pond at Sona Miar Pol near Nasir Model Town area of the city on Saturday afternoon.
Zahid Bin Alam, officer in charge of Barishal Airport police station, said police after informed by local people recovering the dead body. Police suspecting the victim as a patient of epilepsy will send the dead body to Shere Bangla Medical College Hospital for autopsy lodging a case of unnatural death.
Local people said Hanif after working at Naim Steel workshop of the area went to the pond for taking bath and became missing. After an hour his dead body floated on the surface of the pond.
