Dead body of Nakla upazila chairman of Sherpur was recovered from his residence on Friday morning.
The deceased was identified as Md Mahbub Ali Chowdhury (60) alias Md Monir Chowdhury son of Junab Ali at Char Bhabna Kamani para in Nakla upazila of Sherpur district.
Family sources said , Mahbub Ali Chowdhury went to his bedroom alone at about 1 am after taking his suffer on Thursday night. On Friday morning, family members finding no response broke the door and saw the hanging dead body of upazila chairman.
