Police recovered the body of school student Md.Tanveer(12) from the roof of Railway officers club near pologround in city yesterday at 1 pm. Tanveer is the student of class six of Railway Public School and son of railway employee Abdus Salam of RMS department of the railway . He resides with his parents at pologround railway colony.
Police is suspecting that Tanveer might have been electrocuted while picking the green mango riding in roof of the officers club. Kotwali thana SI Md. Hossain told that Tanveer was missing from Friday evening.
On yesterday afternoon, some employees of the officers traced him in the roof the club lying dead while they went to roof for discharging duties and instantly informed the police . Police also traced some green mango beside his body of Tanveer and suspecting he was electrocuted.
A number of electrocution spots were found inhis body, police sources said. Police recovered the body and sent it to CMCH Morgue for autopsy, sources said.
