The body of a UP member named Farhad Hossain (48) has been recovered by Saturia police in Saturiaupazila of Manikganj. His body was recovered from a paddy field in Patilapara area of Baraid union of the upazila on Thursday (March 24) morning.
The deceased was identified as Farhad Hossain, son of Darogali of Patilapara area. He was a UP member of Ward 6 of Baraid Union in Saturia.
Saturia police officer in charge (OC) said. AshrafulAlam told reporters that Farhad left home on Wednesday (March 23) afternoon. When he did not return home at night, his family members searched for him. On the morning of the 24th, the locals informed the police when they saw his body lying near the house of Mahendra Mandal, a neighbor of Farhad. The body has been sent to the morgue of Manikganj Sadar Hospital for autopsy. He was initially thought to have been killed by suffocation. After the autopsy, the real cause of death will be known.
