Dead Body of Md.Aslam (19), a labourer of a cargo ship, who fell from the ship in Pasur River at Mongla Port was recovered from the river on Wednesday morning by the members of his family.
He was the son of one Md Al-Amin of village Perikhali under Rampal Upazila in Bagerhat district. Mokbul Hossain, President of Labourers’ Association of cargo ships told on Tuesday while the ill-fated labourer of cargo ship MV. Ayesha Bibi anchored at Engineering Ghat of Mongla Port was cleaning the ship after the unloading of goods from it he, somehow, slipped, fell into river and was swept away by the strong current of the river.
Md Iqbal Bahar Chowdhury, Officer-in-Charge of Mongla PS told, the dead body of the cargo ship labourer Md. Aslam who fell into the river Pashur on Tuesday was recovered on the following day and was handed over to the members of his family.
