CMP police recovered the body of a trade union leader from a local hotel in city on Tuesday night . The body was identified as Md. Azim Chowdhury, Joint Secretary of Chittagong Inter-district Road Transport Sramik Union.
Police recovered the body from room no.104 of Hotel Tulip in city at about 3 am, Kotwali thana police said. Police sources said the body was lying in the floor of the room and sent to morgue after recovery for autopsy . Police suspecting that the victim was died 2-3 days ago .
Sub Inspector of Kotwali thana Kazi Enamul Hoque told that sensing the information from the family members of the victim , police forces rushed to hotel and recovered the body.
