The body of a young man, who went missing while crossing the Bater Khal river near Baratuka Aliganj Bazar in Chhatak upazila of Sunamganj, was recovered from the same area on Sunday night.
The deceased was identified as Rasel Ahmad, 18, son of Askar Ali, a resident of Rukumtaj village of the upazila.
Sunamganj fire fighters fished out the body of Rasel around 11:30pm.
Kabirul Islam, inspector of Sunamganj fire service station, confirmed this.
