Bangladesh has a long history and associated with Bobst products since 1976. Bobst has about 10 machines installed in Bangladesh of the new generation in the last 2-3 years. Zeeshan International is representing Bobst since 2015.
The packaging market in South Asia is a growing between 10- 12 percent per annum CAGR. Talking at show they cited that per capita consumption of paper and paper board our region is the lowest in the world with about 10-12 kg/person while other parts of Asia and China are 30Kg and developed economies at 100kg and above.
