UNB, Chittagong :
At least 25 people are missing after a boat capsized in the Sandwip channel on Sunday.
Police and locals said the boat carrying 55 passengers sank in the channel of the Bay of Bengal near Guptachhora ghat around 6:15pm after getting caught in inclement weather.
Some 20-25 people went missing although the others managed to swim ashore, said Officer-in-Charge of Sandwip Police Station Shamsul Islam, adding that coast guard members went to the spot to rescue the missing people.
