BNP’s Standing Committee members postponed their press conference due to unavoidable circumstances that was scheduled for Saturday afternoon.
The press conference was set at the party Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s Gulshan office at 3:30 pm.
BNP Chairperson’s press wing member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed it to The New Nation on Friday.
He said, “The press conference will be held at 5:00pm today.”
Asked if any BNP leaders would join Awami League’s National Council, he said he was not informed about it.
