The BNP will start taking interview of its nomination aspirants from Sunday to finalise the party’s candidates to contest the 11th Parliamentary polls.
“The party nomination board, comprising BNP Standing Committee Members, will take the interview at BNP Chairperson’s Gulshan office,” said BNP Senior Joint-Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi in a press briefing at the party’s Nayapaltan office on Friday.
He said, the board will take interview of those who bought and submitted party nomination forms. The interview would start with the aspirants from Rangpur division’s Panchagar-1 Constituency.
Besides, the interview of the nomination seekers of Rajshahi Division would also be taken the same day. The date of the interview of other division’s nomination seekers will be informed later, Rizvi added.
He said the presidents and secretaries of the city, district and upazila units have been urged to remain present during the respective divisions interview.
BNP sold over 4000 nomination papers to the probable candidates. The nomination sale ended on Friday night.
