BNP urged to cut ties with Jamaat

There will be no negotiation or dialogue with BNP if it does not cut ties with Jamaat, said Captain (retd) AB Tajul Islam, MP, former state minister for Liberation War Affairs.
Unity can never be with BNP-Jamaat clique those who do not believe in the country’s independence, he said and expressed the hope that freedom fighters and their offspring will resist the anti-liberation force in iron hand.
He was speaking at a protest rally, arranged by Amra Muktijoddhar Sontan (AMS), at its central office in the city. AMS President M Humayun Kabir presided over the function while general secretary Syed Ashraful Islam Noyon conducted.

Tajul islam said the country’s hard earned independence will be at risk should the evil force is not uprooted. Condemning the recent attacks on religious minority communities, he said their real identity is that they are the citizens of Bangladesh.
