Publicity and Publication Secretary of the Awami League (AL) Dr Hasan Mahmud on Saturday urged the BNP not to go away from the elections and asserted that the AL would prove that the people are with Sheikh Hasina.”I would request the BNP not to run away from the election field … we will prove through the elections that the countrymen are with Sheikh Hasina and the pro-liberation forces,” he said.
The AL leader was addressing a discussion marking the 14th death anniversary of journalist Tridiv Dastidar organized by Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote (BSJ) at the Jatiya Press Club here.
