The BNP on Sunday programmed countrywide rally for Monday demanding its Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia’s release from jail and better treatment.
BNP Senior Joint-Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced it in a press briefing at the party’s Nayapaltan central office.
The rally will be held in all the metropolitan cities and district headquarters.

The BNP on Sunday programmed countrywide rally for Monday demanding its Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia’s release from jail and better treatment.

The rally will be held in all the metropolitan cities and district headquarters.
In Dhaka, the rally will be organised in front of the party’s Nayapaltan central
office at 2:00pm. Rizvi said that letters had been sent to DMP Commissioner and South City Corporation about the programe.
He, however, added that Gazipur and Khulna City Corporation election zones would remain out of the programmme.
The party so far staged different programmes like token hunger strike, human chain and distribution of leaflets demanding Khaleda Zia’s release.
