Some miscreants have set fire on BNP office at KP Bashu road of the district town on Thursday noon
Locals said, on Thursday noon at around 12-30 pm some youths reached the spot in an easy bike and set fire on the office and left the scene hurriedly.
On information fire fighting unit of sadar upazila reached the spot and extinguished the fire.
Sadar police station officer in charge (OC) Shahbuddin Azad told that several forces of police have visited the spot. He added that they are trying to find out the culprits who have done this subversive activity. But nobody is hurt.
District BNP president and divisional organizing secretary and ex-BNP lawmaker told that AL activists have done this subversive activity.
District AL secretary Adv. Azizur Rahman denied the allegation.
