Police have arrested Joint-General Secretary of Feni district unit of BNP, Manowar Hossain Dulal, 48, on charges of grabbing market, vandalism and arson from his house at Rampur around 4pm on Saturday.
Assistant Superinten-dent of Police, Shamsul Alam Dulal confirmed the arrest and said
about 15 murder cases were pending against him.
The police officer said, a case has been filed with the local thana in this connection on Saturday morning.
Zia Uddin Mister, General Secretary of the district unit of the party, said that the party was looking into the matter and the reason of his arrest.
