BNP leader Advocate Sanaullah Miah passed away in a city hospital on Friday night. He was 60.
BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s lawyer Advocate Sanaullah Miah breathed his last around 9:10pm while undergoing treatment at Gonoshasthya Kendra, said Sayrul Kabir Khan, a staffer of the BNP Chairperson’s media wing.
Sanaullah, who was also the Legal Affairs Secretary
of BNP, left behind his wife, two daughters and a son to mourn his death.
He had been suffering from various diseases, including pneumonia and cancer, Sayrul said.
BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman and the party’s Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir expressed deep condolences at the death of Sanaullah.
