Awami League joint general secretary Abdur Rahman alleged that BNP-Jamaat is trying to create anarchy across the country by killing Awami League men.

He alleged said that the BNP-Jmaat men occupied a polling station at Iftedai Madrasa in Noakhali-2 constituency by assaulting presiding officer. Six AL men were also injured in the attack and five others were injured at Amtoli union of Baghaichari upazila in Rangamati district. There were arson attacks in different places of Chattogram, he said. In an audio message, Colonel Oli Ahmed directed his activists to occupy polling stations carrying bamboo sticks, he said adding that Jamaat terrorists openly threatened to blow off a polling station at Amtoli of Barguna distric and five were injured in an attack in Sirajganj district.
