Awami League presidium member and spokesman of 14-party alliance Mohammed Nasim on Saturday said BNP is afraid of people as they are running away from people after boycotting the vote.
“BNP is afraid of people. Due to this they are evading people and staying away from voting process,” he said while speaking at a condolence meeting of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Memorial Trust at Jatiya Press Club here this afternoon.
He added: “But the conspiracy of BNP hasn’t yet stopped. BNP has now emerged as a party of ‘press-briefing and conspirators’ leaving their chairperson in the jail.”
