BNP holds doa mahfil for Koko

BNP arranged a doa mahfil at the party’s Nayapaltan central office on Friday seeking salvation of the departed soul of BNP founder Ziaur Rahman and chairperson Khaleda Zia’s younger son Arafat Rahman Koko.
The prayer programme was held on the ground floor of the BNP’s headquarters after Asr prayers.
A munajta was offered after the milad seeking teternal peace for the souls of Zia and Koko.
BNP vice chairman Selima Rahman, BNP chairperson’s adviser Inam Ahmed, joint secretary
general Mahbubuddin Khokan, international affairs secretary Asaduzzaman Ripon, Jubo Dal president Syed Moazzem Hossain Alal, Kalyan Party chief Maj Gen (retd) Ibrahim and Dhaka South City Corporation mayoral contender Tabith Awal were, among others, present at the programme.
Talking to reporters, Tabith said, “I’m here to pray for salvation of the departed soul of Arafat Rahman. I want blessings and cooperation from all.”
