BNP extends support to left parties’ hartal

BNP on Wednesday extended its full support to the eight-hour hartal to be enforced by left-leaning parties on Thursday protesting the fresh power tariff hike.
BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi came up with the announcement while speaking at a human chain programme.
Swadhinata Forum, a pro-BNP platform, arranged the programme in front of the Jatiya Press Club.
