Bangladesh naval war ship BNS Samudrajoy returns in Chittagong Naval base after participating the International Fleet Review-2016 held in Indian territory . Rear Admiral of Chittagong Naval base Akhter Habib welcomed the Samudrajoy at Ctg naval base on Thursday last.
BN sources said BNS Samudrajoy participated the naval exercise at Bishakapatnam area in Indian ocean from February 2 to 8 last where 54 naval ships from India and other countries joined the exercise. Commodore SM Abul Kalam led the naval mission in India with BNS ship.
Under the captain Arif Mohammad Mostafa, 38 officers and 228 sailors joined in the exercise . The Samudrajoy left Bangladesh for Bishakapatnam, India on January 30 last.
