Blanket were distributed among 13, 00 cold-hit people including child at Gharua union in Bhanga upazila under Faridpur district town on Saturday noon.
Awami League presidium member Kazi Jafarulla, former MP of Faridpur-4 (Bhanga, Sadarpue, Charvadrasan) distributed the blankets among the cold-hit persons as chief guest. Among others District AL Organizing Secretary adv Kamal Uddin, Industrial editor Dipak Kumar Majumdar, District Council’s Pannel Chairman Md Shahin Sheik, Gharua UP Chairman Safi Uddin Molla, Saifur Rahman Miran, District AL working Committee Member Md, Zakir Hossain were present on the occasion.

ADC (General & D.S) Torafder Md. Akhter Jamil was attended as chief guest with Surjoyduo coordinator Md. Pappu Miah. Poura Mayor Md. Pervez Miah and Sadar UNO Abdullah-al-Masud were attended as special guests. It was addressed among others by Kishoreganj Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge Khondokar Sawkat Jahan, CAB President Alam Sarower Tito, District Press Club President Mustafa Kamal, Student Leader Akib Hridoy, Ripon and Riya Islam.
