Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Pratisthan (BKSP) and Khulna Division played draw in a two-day match of the Young Tigers U-16 National Cricket Tournament at Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium in Cox’s Bazar on Saturday.
On the second day (Friday), Khulna Div resumed the first innings with overnight 13 for no loss in 5 overs and was dismissed for 100 runs in 53.2 overs.
Taherullah Adnan scored the team’s highest 25 runs while Jalal Uddin (16), Najmul Alam(16) and Abdul Rana (12) were the other notable scorers for Khulna Div.
Mezbaur Rahman claimed 4 wickets for 8 runs while Sartaz Aziz and Aminul Islam took 1 wicket each for 4 and 13 runs respectively.
Khulna Div opened the second innings, as they followed on, and scored 132 for 5 in 52 overs.
Opener Tanvir Sojib scored 61 runs off 84 balls with 4 fours and 2 sixes while Jalal Uddin scored unbeaten 41 and Sumon Ali added unbeaten 19 runs.
Muhaimin Rashid and Mezbaur Rahman took two wickets each for 18 and 30 runs respectively.

Dhaka Metro VS Rangpur Div
The day’s another match between Dhaka Metro and Rangpur Division also ended in draw at Cox’s Bazar ground-2.
Rangpur Div resumed the first innings with overnight 20 runs for 1 in 18 overs and was dismissed for 121 runs in 69.3 overs.
Abdullah Al Shuvo scored 26 runs while Abu Hammam(19), Mahfuz Rahman(16), Musfiqur Islam (15) and Utpol Roy (14) were the other notable scorers for Rangpur Div.
Shahariar Islam claimed 4 wickets for 37 runs while Nahid Hasan took 2 for 37 runs.
In reply, Dhaka Metro opened the second innings and scored 156 for 6 in 47 overs.
Riaduzzaman and Shahariar Sagar scored 34 runs each while Mahidul Sagar added not out 33 runs and Shahadat Hossain made not out 16 runs.
Muhib Billah and Musfiqur Islam took 2 wickets each for 50 and 51 runs respectively.
