Economic Reporter :
Bangladesh Jute Association (BJA) on Sunday demanded Tk 2500 crore allocation in the raw jute sector to promote exporting raw jute.
The BJA, the apex organization of the jute traders and exporters in the country, in statement expressed concern over repeated imposing ban on exporting raw jute, saying they would have to face a lot of financial losses because of the ban.
It also demands declaration of the raw jute as agricultural goods by allocating incentive for exporters.
