Bishwajanin Santi Sangha of Chittagong distributes Eid dresses among the poor at a Iftar party as arranged by the organisation at its Station Road office premises on Tuesday.
Chairman of the organistion and noted social personality and philanthropist Principal Dr.Abdul Karim distributed the clothes in the Iftar mahfil as chief guest.
During the distribution program, Dr. Karim said affluent should come forward beside the poor and hapless people during the religious occasions. He urges all members of the organization to undertake extensive programs in future to the cause of humanity of all religions. Among others in the Iftar mahfil , founder of the organization Sanga chief Dr. C, L Das, Vice Chairman Narayan Chandra Pal, Md. Habibur Rahman Habib, General Secretary Adv Sukhomoy Cakraborty, joint secretary general Dr.Anjan Kumar Das, Prof. Shibprasad Shur, Prof. Dr.Jaharlal Bhattachariya, Ln.Dr. Pranab Biswas, Basab Shil, Joydev Chandra Das, Dr.Manash Sekhar, M.Abdul Baten Biplob, Dr. Akhter Hossain, Dr.Devashish Majumder, Ranjan Saha, Kalachand Bhattachariya Simanta, Reba Barua, Mohon chowdhury, Adv.Rasik Lala Baidya, Md. Omar Faruk, M.A Fazal were present on the occasion. In a resolution of the Iftar mahfil and clothes distribution program, it was unanimously decided to arrange a Peace Conference within the short possible time, a sources said.
